Comprising: Eight historically accurate scale models in high-resolution, 3D-printed resin.
History: The T.B. 10 was an Austro-Hungarian light incendiary/fragmentation aerial bomb produced for the K.u.K. Luftfahrtruppen during the First World War. Introduced as part of the standard small-bomb inventory, it was designed for carriage in multiples by two-seat reconnaissance and multi-role aircraft equipped with simple external racks. Its delayed-fuze ensured the case opened mid-air, scattering multiple burning sub-munitions (brandkörper) that could be compositionally configured for specific missions.
Operational Use: Reflecting Austro-Hungarian reliance on light ordnance delivered by reconnaissance-type aircraft rather than large dedicated bombers, from roughly 1915 to 1918 it was used in tactical attacks along the Italian, Balkan, and Eastern fronts against observation balloons, exposed targets, lightly built flammable objects, and ground concentrations where fire spread mattered more than blast. Photographic evidence suggests that the a variant of T.B.10, was also used by the Lithuanian Air force in the interwar period.
Note: Images may include digital renderings of the actual 3D designs used to produce this scale model. Each respective scale is customized to ensure the greatest level detail and historical accuracy while factoring the limitations of the printing process in order to produce the most pleasing results.
