Bomb - WW1 Austro-Hungarian 14kg 'Traisen-Rauchbombe' (Set of 8)

Comprising: Eight historically accurate scale models in high-resolution, 3D-printed resin.

History: The Traisen-Rauchbombe appears in K.u.K. Luftfahrtruppen aerial ordnance inventories of the First World War as a 14 kg smoke-producing aerial bomb alongside other Austro-Hungarian ordnance types such as Brandbomben (incendiary), Sprengbomben (high-explosive), and various TNB/TVB types. It was designed primarily for marking, signaling, or obscuration on the battlefield.  The T.R.B 14 was fitted with a top-mounted time fuze and produced a 'große schwarze Rauchwolke' (large black smoke cloud).

Operational Use: Thrown by hand or mounted externally. The follow aircraft were capable of carrying the T.R.B 14: Albatross B and C types; Aviatik B.III, Hansa-Brandenburg C.I and G.I, Lloyd B and C.I types, Lohner B.VII / C.I, Phönix C.I, and UFAG C.I.
