Comprising: Four historically accurate scale models in high-resolution, unpainted, 3D-printed resin. Available in your choice of 1/32, 1/48, or 1/72 scale.
History: The British 100lb Hale light-cased aerial bomb was a heavier development of its 20lb sibling (sharing the same style of tail unit) designed by British explosives engineer Frederick Marten Hale. It could be mounted on the standard 100lb C.F.S. bomb carrier and was used by the Royal Naval Air Service and Royal Flying Corps primarily during the early years of the Great War, being phased out as standardized Royal Laboratory bombs became predominant.
Operational Use: Documented to have equipped several aircraft, including the Armstrong Whitworth F.K.3; Airco D.H.6; Fairey Campania; Royal Aircraft Factory B.E.2c, B.E.2d, and R.E.7; Short Bros. Admiralty Types 74 and 184; and the Wight "Converted" Seaplane.
Note: Images may include digital renderings of the actual 3D designs used to produce this scale model. Each scale is customized to ensure the highest level of detail and historical accuracy, while balancing the limitations of the printing process to produce the most pleasing results.
