Comprising: Eight unpainted, 3D-printed resin bombs in your choice of 1/72, 1/48, or 1/32 scale.
History: Initial tests were conducted aboard a Royal Naval Air Service Short biplane (serial #34). These hand-dropped bombs were simply lifted from the cockpit and thrown overboard. The steel body contained 340 steel balls and an explosive charge of trinitrotoluol. The spindle detonator could be stowed during transport.
Operational Use: Hale bombs were also by used the Royal Flying Corps and later the Royal Air Force. They were fitted to several aircraft types, including the Armstrong Whitworth F.K.3., Avro 504, Royal Aircraft Factory B.E.2; Short S.38 Type and Admiralty Type 184; and the Sopwith Admiralty Type 807.
