History: This light-case, high-explosive aerial bomb was introduced in 1915 by Britain’s Royal Laboratory. Made of mild steel, it was used by the Royal Flying Corps, Royal Naval Air Service and RAF through the latter half of WW1.

Flying Boat; Airco DH.4; Martinsyde Elephant; Blackburn Seaplane Type L; Fairey Hamble Baby; Handley Page O/100; Royal Aircraft Factory R.E.8; Sage Type 3; Short Admiralty Type 184; Short Bomber and N.2B; and Sopwith's Schneider, Baby, and 1 1/2 Strutter
