Comprising: Four unpainted 3D-printed resin bombs in your choice of 1/72, 1/48, or 1/32 scale.

History: During the Great War, the the Servizio Aeronautico della Regia Marina, used bombing primarily as a supporting tool for sea control.  Opportunistic air raids preceding and accompanying naval patrols, or following reconnaissance sightings employed light bombs adapted from naval shells or mortar rounds interference with enemy naval activity especially in and around Austro-Hungarian ports such as Pola, Trieste, and Cattaro.

Operational Use: The Type I was the original heavy munition employed in aerial raids by Italy when they entered the war in 1915.  Extant photos suggest that these converted mortar bombs were typically mounted underwing on both large, multi-engine bombers and small numbers of aircraft flown from seaplane bases or tenders.  They became a primary aerial weapon against U-boats and their bases and started to be replaced by the Type II variant in 1916.  Aircraft known to have been armed with this type include the FBA Types C, H and S seaplanes, and the Caproni series of heavy bombers.
