Bomb - WWI Russian 460kg Oranovsky High-Explosive

Comprising: One historically accurate scale model in high-resolution, unpainted, 3D-printed resin. Available in your choice of 1/32, 1/48, or 1/72 scale.

History: This large aerial bomb was the heaviest ordnance manufactured for the Imperial Russian Air Service (Imperatorskiy Voyenno-Vozdushnyy Flot / Императорскій военно-воздушный флотъ) during the Great War.

Operational Use: Designed for the Ilya Muromets (Sikorskiy Ilya Muromets / Сикорский «Илья Муромец») series of four-engine heavy bombers, which performed more than 400 sorties and dropped 65 tons of bombs between 1914 and 1917. The first bomb of this type was successfully tested in August 1915.
