Scale

Comprising: Two historically accurate scale models in high-resolution, unpainted, 3D-printed resin; in your choice of 1/32, 1/48, or 1/72 scale.  Elastic not included.

Description: Designed by pilot and engineer Albert Étévé of France's STAé in 1915, his namesake 'tourelle' became the first mobile turret for a machine gun installed on an aircraft.  Coloquially known also as the Nieuport Ring, the Étévé was typically mounted with a Lewis machine gun.  It became the standard aerial gun fitting for France and was also employed by Britain's RFC and RNAS (classified as the No. 3 Mk. I) on aircraft such as the Sopwith 1-1/2 Strutter.  It remained in use until 1932.

Note: Images depict renderings of the actual 3D designs used to produce this scale model. Each respective scale is customized to ensure the greatest level detail and historical accuracy while factoring the limitations of the printing process in order to produce the most pleasing results.
