About 3,600 examples of the so-called Superbébé were produced, flying primarily for France, Belgium, Great Britain, Italy, Russia, and the United States. Multiple aces made the nimble Nieuport their main mount: Ball, Baracca, Bishop, Boyaum, de Muelemeester, Dorme, Fullard, Guynemer, Kazakov, Lufbery, Mannock, Nungesser, Olieslagers, Piccio, Pinsard, Scaroni; Thieffrey.
