Comprising: One 3D-printed-resin torpedo in either 1/72, 1/48, or 1/32 scale.

History:  In response to the 14-inch torpedo's weakness against heavier warships, Britain took advantage of the stronger lift capabilities of its new aircraft and developed the 18-inch aerial torpedo.  The Mk. IX was part of the RNAS' pioneering experimentation with aircraft torpedo attack techniques from the late 1910s, but large-scale operational use was limited by the practical constraints of the time.  Development of improved aerial torpedoes soon surpassed the Mk. IX, and during the inter-war period 18-inch designs from the Mk. XII and beyond were standard for Fleet Air Arm torpedo bombers.

Operational Use: Documented to have equipped several aircraft, including the: Avro 571 Buffalo; Blackburn B-3, Baffin, Beagle, Blackburd, Dart, G.P., R.T.1 Kangaroo, Ripon, Shark, and Velos; Gloster Goring; Handley Page H.P.31 Harrow, Hanley, Hare, and Hendon; Hawker Horsley, and Harrier; Short Brothers Type 320 and Shirl; Sopwith Cuckoo; Supermarine Nanok; Vikers Type 207, Wildebeest, and Vimy; Westland PV-3; And the Wight Twin), and Converted Seaplane.

Note: Images may include digital renderings of the actual 3D designs used to produce this scale model. Each respective scale is customized to ensure the greatest level detail and historical accuracy while factoring the limitations of the printing process in order to produce the most pleasing results.
